 Today we went to look at the Algood house. I actually kinda liked it. It felt better inside. I don't know if it was just the not worrying about the current owners being in there and the current owner's stuff still there, if it's just because it was a bigger house, or a number of other things.

The bedrooms looked to be decently sized. Each one had a ceiling fan. The "master" bedroom had a half bath inside which Rob thought was just weird. and I guess I agree. I mean especially for us that it's just the two of us. But if you think about the fact it's a 3 bedroom house. So there is potential for other people living there who may need to bathe or shower. It would work better to have the tub in a more central location than the only tub in one person's bedroom.

Rob had me sit in the tub. It was about the same size as our apartment bathtub if not smaller. The bathrooms were tiny.

The building out back was huge. And the deck is nice. And I like the colors that are already there so there wouldn't need to be as much immediate work. It has one of those split range top and oven things. The oven is in the wall and the range is next to it. Kinda cool. And it already has the fridge Rob likes.

Also, Rob got approved for 10 more hours a week starting June 1. So, once he gets me the full data I am to email the mortgage lady to get numbers reworked.

Something I'm kind of struggling with is that I kind of feel like we should look around and see what other kinds of deals we can get on a mortgage, and then again, I'm thinking we got a pretty decent deal from SunTrust. It wasn't an employee deal or anything. Just a 1st time home buyer deal.
But with the hours we work (me not getting off until 4:30, him not until 6 on MWF) it makes it difficult to go to banks. I don't necessarily want to go and do this stuff any more by myself. But I don't want everything left to Rob to do on Tuesday and Thursday.

Maybe if I can get notes on what is usually asked for (income amounts, recent jobs, Rob's ssn etc) I could go on Wednesday and check a couple places. I just don't even know what banks to go to. I kinda think some of the small local ones might be a good idea. But then again, I dunno.

Anyway, 'twas a pretty good day. I really felt a lot more comfortable at the Algood house.

tomorrow's gonna be awesome. I will be off the phone and getting paid for it from 10 - 12:30, then on lunch from 12:30 -1. Then back off the phone for 15 minutes at 2:15. We were doing a game or contest or something last month to get 'admission' to a movie while on the clock. The movie is Twilight and tomorrow's my day. And I also have a team meeting right after the movie. So fun times.

Today I found out that I have 14 booked products. 2 of which were mortgages that just booked today. I'm super stoked about those. I'm just hoping the last two I need drop into place!! *crossing fingers* I need 16 in order to get paid for booked products.

well I guess that's everything for now.

Interesting...my parents' house has a half-bath inside the master bath. It kinda makes sense because one person can shower or brush their teeth or whatever while the other uses the toilet. Is it a shed out back? That would be nice to have. My parents also have the split stove and oven! Except they have two ovens, which is amazing. Wow, I can't believe SunTrust pays for y'all to watch movies! That's crazy! Had you seen Twilight before? What did you think of it?

@notpoems -

I can see the half bath thing both ways. On the one hand Rob is like "there should be a shower or something in the master bedroom so that you don't have to go prancing around outside of your room in a towel or robe" But at the same time, especially if it comes to kids or guests, it's better if you only have one bath tub or shower for it to NOT be in the master bedroom. We have talked if we get that house about doing some remodeling of the half bath to expand it more into the bedroom (the bedroom was large) and put at least a shower stall or possibly a tub in there too. Rob wants to take out the toilet and sink and just put a tub but I said that was stupid and defeated the purpose. I want two toilets.

ANYWAY

Yes, there is a HUGE shed out back. Like seriously you could put two small cars inside. It is split into three sections. Two on the ends seriously look like potential for mini garages (but it's too far back in the yard to realistically use as a garage. Besides the fact that Rob's car is a boat) And the middle has your usual pegboard work room stuff.

Not only did we get paid to watch Twilight (and will next month, if we qualify, get to watch "Bedtime Stories" (the new Adam Sandler movie... I don't know anything about it)) but if we qualified we got to play Wii in our meeting yesterday. It really is a reward system though. We had to meet some pretty high goals in order to get those privileges.

I had just watched a cammed and split up version of Twilight on youtube. So this was my first time watching a "real" version. I liked it alright. It's about on par with the Harry Potter movies (in the "books to movies" category of films) It didn't make me angry the way "Stardust" did. And the Harry Potter movies don't really make me angry either. I definitely enjoy the books more though.

I was thinking about it last night and the only movie I like more than the book that I can think of, is Shrek.
